Coffea arabica
£10.00Price
The coffee plant. An attractive little plant with glossy green leaves and a compact growth habit. In their native habitat, they like to grow into medium-sized trees, but the plants are regularly pruned to a more manageable size by coffee plantation growers.
To best grow these Coffee Arabica plants, mimic the conditions found on a tropical, mid-elevation mountainside: lots of water with good drainage, high humidity, relatively cool temperatures, and rich, slightly acidic soil. They like dappled sunlight.
When the plant is mature, between 3-5 years, it may flower. But in the UK, these flowers may be low in numbers. However, many people love this plant simply for its foliage and great structure.
