Pot diameter: 17cm
This plant will light up any room with its incredible foliage!
Its common name, Dumb Cane, is derived from the unpleasant effect of its poisonous sap on the mouth and throat. Dumb canes are poisonous, due to the high levels of calcium oxalate crystals that are found in the plant. When ingested these crystals can cause swelling in the mouth, specifically the tongue. For this reason, it’s recommended to keep the plant away from pets or children.
It likes to be kept warm and humid, and out of direct sunlight and cold draughts.
It’s also known for my air-purifying qualities.
