Musa 'Dwarf Cavendish'

Musa 'Dwarf Cavendish'

This beautiful plant is a variety of banana, and is named after William Cavendish, the 6th Duke of Devonshire. It is found growing naturally in the Canary Islands.

It is a fast growing plant, and although the leaves are fragile, the plant puts on many new ones during its growing stages. The blotches on the leaves disappear as the plant matures.

  • Bright, indirect sunlight.
  • Regular misting of leaves to prevent tearing and to increase humidity
  • Soil should be moist but not soggy. To prevent overwatering, stick your finger into the soil to ensure deeper parts of the soil are also dry before watering.
